This Garden or Patio Bench is solid and very heavy. The wood used, IPE is one of the very hard woods sometimes referred to as "Ironwood". It is rot proof and virtually indestructible. The design is very simple but held together with stainless steel bolts and rods sealed into the wood with epoxy resin. The result is a bench that can be left outside in all weathers and use as a platform for virtually any weight of plants etc.
